This guy is one of my all -time favourite EDH generals. I'm assured a land drop and he really beats face for general damage later what with all my dredge cards, creature sacrifice, and equipment. Really, really nifty card. Thanks, Wizards!

@bluemaxx: Actually, Nantuko Monastery beats this as the first multicolored (green/white) manland by a few years.

Who can say no to a half-Lhurgoyf manland? Bring on the board wipe and the dredge!

Often times a forgotten win condition with Jarad. Make sure to put it under a basic, so your enemies forget about it.
