..I just realised this is a rare.

What a crap card, even at its best, a 5/2 haste for 3Red is vanilla-level power.

Even if you could choose it would not be worth being a rare.
The only good of this card is the flavor text.

I imagine this would be fun to play with if only it was more efficient. I wish red randomness would get more love.

Why all the hate? Run it in a Chance Encounter deck!

Nice design, a bit more power would have been nice. Both creatures need to be above the curve for the CMC in order for getting a random one to be worth it.

Yet another overcosted & unplayable red rare...why were you so nerfed, red? Bolt?

Well, I suppose it could be used to champion a Nova Chaser, though you do have better choices for that. The randomness is old-school red though, choosing its form would be more like blue.

You may scoff at the card, but I will bet you wish you had 1000 of them.

@GrimjawxRULES:
Technically this coinflip has no "winner," so it doesn't interact with Chance Encounter, if your opponent chooses to let you use heads as winning in casual(the only place either of these cards should ever see the light of day anyway,) that's fine, but Official Rules-wise that doesn't work. If you for some reason have any use for this, possibly your group has ruled that heads does in fact count as "winning" or that you can declare which one you want and count that as "winning" Krark's Thumb let's you make this less chancy.
All in all, still terrible and awfully unplayable.
One of my friends played this in his casual RDW deck because he didn't have any better creatures to top his curve, always, without fail became a 2/5. Finally sick of it he picked up some Blistering Firecats, and now just wrecks shop.
