Err, what are you talking about? How does this and bloodshed fever combo in any way? I don't think you get the point of bloodshed fever, its to get the opponents creatures to attack you, you got it?

It's not worse than Unholy Strength...first of all the hybrid {B} / {R} mana cost makes it easier to cast, secondly the +2/-1 can be used to kill a creature with one toughness and it can also be used to enable other cards that require multicolored permanents, such as Jund Hackblade and Naya Hushblade.

Would have been better if it was +3/-1 to give it some more Ooomph, but I guess the fact that it's more splashable than Unholy Strength means it's less useful (except against those pesky x/1's). Very Rakdos though. 2.5/5
