Polar bears generally "hibernate" by choice during the arctic summer, where the melting sea ice makes it hard to hunt seal and it requires too much energy - by resting all day, they burn much less calories than trying and failing to hunt; by the time they get a seal it wouldn't be enough to break even.

Awesome fun with all manner of creatures, especially those who impart abilities or have "enters the battlefield" triggers. Zendikar's Allies come to mind immediately, and this ensures you can continue the pressure even long after your hand is empty. There are so many uses of this - Ranger of Eos would be a sick pull with 4 age counters.
