What? Land control? I know of absolutely no one who will ever sacrifice a land more than once. Especially not in a rematch and you plan on land destruction. It's called Doom Blade or other creature control

It looks like it's in a lot of pain in that picture...but quick question: If I play this, do I have time to interrupt my opponent's choice AFTER they make it or do I only have the opportunity to do something BEFORE they make their choice? Thanks!

EDIT: My question was answered in the rules forum. You can't interrupt the opponent's choice after it's played--only before.

Either get a 6/6 with Trample or destroy the opponent's opportunity to play spells, repeatedly, for 4.
Awesome!
It's just a little slow for my taste, almost unable to draw new cards for awhile.

This is a wonderful card. A 6/6 with trample on turn four without having to sacrifice plays to acceleration can easily win games, and to stall you they have to either keep sacrificing lands or pray they get an answer like Doom Blade. Any card that puts as much pressure on the opponent as this one is a good one in my book.

4.5/5.

The difference between the Wumpus going to graveyard and going on library when they sacrifice a land is just so huge, if it were the former the card would be practically unplayable but as it is it's a great card in more casual environments.

So to the people complaining about people who say this dies to removal ill give you a spike guide to how creatures are evaluated
If the creature costs 1-3
Does this accelerate me?
Does this put the opponent on a clock?
Does this create powerful synergy?
Does this help a bad match up?
If a creature costs 4-6
Does this have a comes into play effect?
Does it have a leave the battlefield/dies effect?
Does it have haste and evasion?
Is it hard to kill (pro color shroud hexproof or some kind of deterrent)?
Does it have a punisher mechanic (this will often keep it from being played at all as it one of the least spike-ish mechanics vexing devil is the only one I know that she's play as he is almost the same either way)

Brought to you by trollking21 copy and paste this to help people get over the fact spikes post here
