Possibly my favourite card art, set in the plane of Arkhos, "where night and day intermingle". Visited only one other time, on the Lethe Lake plane card of planechase.

I just can't give a card this unique with such jaw-dropping art under a 5. Well, actually I wouldn't except it really forces you to plan ahead a bit to fix your mana, and gives you that little boost for putting in the extra effort. Very interesting card.

I would have a 6' by 8' painting of this card.

This would be nice in my deck I think. I could use it for my blue artifact support, and if I have a land and have minor black abilities I wanna play (like Skeleton Shard) I just play a land before I tap it.

Dx wish there were more cards like this one, it's nice

If nothing else, this card looks amazing!

The most amazing and gorgeous art of any land in the game. Did they ever make foil for future sight cards?

@superllama -- It does "float"--just not between phases.

@sgt -- wouldn't work because on the first turn, it makes Black because you probably laid a land (i.e., this one).

Cry Me a River, great song.

Managable drawback, but something I'm surprised no one has mentioned is that on opponent's turns it will nearly always produce blue mana, great for countermagic. And on your turn, it will really always be your choice.

Actually there's a small distinction between this and Landfall, playing a land isn't quite the same as having a land enter the battlefield.
