Not the most useful card, but who cares. You just turned your opponents monster into a SHEEP! HOW IS THAT NOT AWESOME?

EDIT: On further reflection, this card is actually quite powerful. Because its an instant, you can play it any time. So you can turn a big charging enemy creature into a sheep after it attacks but before it deals damage, and then almost all creatures, even weenies, will kill it! As far as I can see, this is one of the few ways to get a darksteel colossus into the discard pile.

Incredibly useful, I love it when my opponent blocks with his strongest creature and I kill it blocking with my Merfolk Looter, and my looter doesn't even die. Also love the flavor about this card.

So, I heard about this Gaze of the Gorgon variant in Time Spiral block. It's also got a Canopy Claws effect on it, and something like the second part of Interdict. It also has a Fatal Blow thing going on. And Fend Off. Plus it can do some other things. I think that this rumor is crazy; how much would a card like that have to cost?

Apparently, one and a blue.

It's nice for blue, since we don't always want to be countering big creatures. I prefer Pongify though.

Yeah the sheep creature type would be very flavourful and would be useful for handling creatures with powerful creature types (if I am assuming correctly that the original creature type/s would be replaced?)
