Did they REALLY think this was a good idea to put this effect on a SLIVER?!
Geez - I thought ELVES had absurdly powerful lord abilities, but at least they have to add a Coat of Arms to do this....

My least favorite sliver lord. It has the same effect as 5CMC colorless card that is typically harder to remove.

By far one of the worst slivers made.
For all of you saying that this is better than coat of arms, you assume that your opponent is playing tribal also. And don't forget you're playing SLIVERS for crying out loud!! That means you should have a way to kill your opponents the second it hits the field. Not too mention coat of arms isn't legendary. The only benefit of playing this over coat arms, is that it can be tutored with homing sliver/sliver Overlord.
As for the other WUBRG slivers, EDH general use should be strictly Overlord. In general, Queen is the best tho.

The Commander in my EDH Sliver deck. It's like having a Coat of Arms always at the ready for when you make you slivers unblockable with Shifting Sliver or Shadow Sliver. It's a win condition if you can last long enough when the other players team up against you when they find out you're playing slivers. :P

Yeah right up there for for the "Best Sliver Ever" Award. 5 color casting is the only drawback, but with Gemhide Sliver thats not really a big problem. Nice colors on the art yes, but a crappy picture otherwise, show me something cool for such an awsome card, not some foggy cave and disembodied claws. Meh on the flavour text, agree with the previous legion comment.
