Liliana's ability is actually demonic tutor because she made a deal with demons to gain demonic powers. That's why she is on the Angelic vs Demonic printing of that card.

@ adrian.malacoda: I'm pretty sure the reason ApotheosisCM referenced this instead of Demonic Tutor is because this puts the card on the top of your library, like Liliana Vess, and Demonic Tutor puts the card in your hand.

What's really funny is that this and the other Mirage block tutors were meant as weaker versions of Demonic Tutor. Power is relative - they are all still amazing cards.

Would anyone be able to help me out? my friend has a FNM promo of this, its not the DCI judge foil, it actually has the FNM backdrop behind the text, ive been trying to find it online and havent seen it anywhere is anyone able to tell me if it ever came out as an FNM promo or if its just a fake? It would be greatly apreciated.

For flavor reasons, I would've preferred that you pay your 2 life to the Tutor before you get your card. I can't imagine this guy working on trust.
