Lotus bloom, cabal ritual, rite of flame, dark ritual, seething song, fork, dragonblast, mishra's bauble or urza's bauble. 4 of each. Add lotus petal for mana fixing if necessary. 4 bogardan hellkite and 2 kokusho, the evening star. Maybe a tutor.

Can the fork be used as a way to copy a counterspell just in case its necessary to save the casting of dragonstorm?

Vampire child what you just said is impossible.

However:
a lotus petal (1 mana fixer)
a mountain/swamp/badland (land)
dark ritual (+2 black mana)
dark ritual or seething song in any combination x3 (+6 mana and if you have any seething song, you can chnage this to seething song and 2 forks or 2 forks and a seething song)
dragonstorm

Is a possible but very unlikely hand. Most of the time you'll get at least one bauble or an extra land, so you can easily cast it by turn 4.

Well of course dragons come in storms, their dragons! There is no subtlety in their arrival, no warning, no patience. Just a massive storm of rage and destruction cascading from the sky in a fiery blaze. The initial cost of this card is completely expensive, but when combined with suspend, well I think we all know what happens then, thats right, DRAGONS!

Turn 1: Mountain
Turn 2: Swamp + Dark Ritual + Dark Ritual + Dark Ritual + Dark Ritual + Spellbook + (Any creature that costs 'B') + Dragonstorm.

7 Dragons in play by turn 2, Alright, not the most likliest of draws ever, but this is cold hard powergaming - little things like Statistics won't get in our way! =D

You guys missed something: The chances of the 6 dragons on turn one combo is unlikely.

In casual, don't play lands (Play Simian Spirit Guide) and just mana screw until they say "Just get whatever the hell you want."

Done and done.

I do like the idea behind storm... especially within red.
Red should be about endless mana, cards and opportunities. What I didn't like was the fact how the finishing card was designed. For a cmc9 card, you could expect an auto-win or a near auto-win, but why do I need dragons? THIS is why I don't like the card... and the combination with damage-dealing dragons should have been obvious.

They could have used Ball Lightning-like tokens or an apokalyptic destruction instead to make me happier.

As for red, storm is why I believe that cards like Recycle or Future Sight should be red and replace the stupid Furnace of Rath-like cards. It's much cooler to win by being able to cast/copy many Lightning Bolts within a single turn than having the damage doubled. So even the Mind's Desire would have been much better as a red spell.

@Ekruob, yes, each copy is a seperate spell, and thus needs to be countered seperately. Same with Replicate. And Ripple, if anyone actuly plays that in constructed. Multikicker, however, the extra effects are all part of the original spell.

terrible card because its 9 mana, which means you need specific combo for you to be able to use it.
