simple, grab a progenitus, lorthos, the tidemaker, and three other cards. or you can grab all five praetors form the new phyrexia set, and then you will win.

Not a horrible card, it will have its uses in a 5-color deck. But, I honestly wish this hadn't been the mystic rare I got.

Umm... no. Just no. 5 color cost cards are generally ridiculously powerful (Coalition Victory, Scion of the Ur-Dragon, etc.) and this is just pathetic, especially with the {3} tagged on. Give it something else, something GOOD, or let us put one right on to the battlefield, but NOT LIKE THIS.

here is a good time not to use conflux, when you have 3 health left, you have 8 mana (the kind needed for conflux), and the only card left in your hand is conflux. Your opponent has 20 health, 1 or more mana, and the only card in their hand is lightning bolt.

I currently have this card in a five colour Ally deck, and once this card is played you oppenent only has one more turn before all those Allies come raining down. Depending on the situation I generally get Bala Ged Thief,Jwari Shapeshifter, Ondu Cleric, Murasa Pyromancer, Oran-Rief Survivalist. Hand control, Creature destruction, Life gain, and whatever else with the shapeshifter and you'll be set for the win.
