Be glad that mana this fast has been out of Standard for a very long time.

Otherwise... Turn one Thragtusk FTW. And follow that by turn two Wurmcoil?

This thing is insane, as any vintage player knows, the chance of three damage on subsequent turns (If they happen) is hardly a drawback for two free mana. They might as well have called this the colorless mox, that's what it is.

This would still be stupidly broken if artifacts weren't the cards that win you games anyway.

"Heads I win, Tails I lose" versus Red. I like that. :)

I wish it just did the damage. I hate flipping coins. People always steal my coins.

Also this card is very rare. I think its amazingly underpriced. I will have to invest in a set. Its much more fun than any mox, and actually more powerful, while not being strictly better than a land like moxen. I like this. I wish all moxen were like this.

Back in the day, Wizards use to print cards with "drawbacks" that didn't matter because they were so horrifically overpowered that your opponent would be dead long before the drawback would be even close to mattering. Exhibit A: Mana Crypt.

Even better than Black Lotus in my honest opinion.

Now hear me out, this guy interacts with Hurkyl's shenanigans, is a target for Tinker and even stays the next turn in case you want to be doing something in addition to attacking with Blightsteel. Took time and blood to get my hands on two of these since my group discourages buying online and I still treasure them as my babies (don't tell my kids).

Totally broken. Taking up to 12 damage on the first turn is well worth casting a first turn Ulamog's Crusher, Platinum Emperion or even (dare I say) Alladin's Ring?
