Soul Warden doesn't win games, but it makes things annoying for your opponent. This will do the same thing, but its tougher body will stop it from getting pinged away as easily as Soul Warden can be. The majestic thing about it is that it still doesn't appear to be worth using good removal on.

Why are you guys mentioning alpha cards on the vintage restricted list? Do you play vintage? Okay then shut up!
lets talk about how this card is actually relevant. Just a few fetchlands might make it worth some deckspace. Perhaps not, but lifegain can be good.
