lorendorky: You cannot redirect damage to your own planeswalkers. You can only redirect (noncombat) damage a source you control would deal to an opponent. You are not your own opponent.

Thanks to this only edition, Earthquake is in Modern!

A very useful mass-destruction red spell, that since the beginning gives to red a definitive toll. What makes Earthquake somehow better than Wrath of God like spells is that you can build your deck with this in mind (full of flying creatures, for example), and you can cast it deciding its X value according to the battlefield situation...

A classic, and a favourite of mine!

Strictly worse than Rolling Earthquake.

A great card, for sure, but I miss the Richard Kane Ferguson art.

Gotta go 5/5 for this guy. Very splashable of course and turn that "drawback" of missing flying creatures into an advantage by... playing flying creatures with it!!! Amazing in RW or RU decks. Good in mono red too. I run this in my Kaalia of the Vast EDH deck and it's very, very effective against one of the main thing kaalia decks fear: tokens!

Personally, I prefer Comet Storm or Anger of the Gods, but this has some nice flexibility to it.

When i think of removal, i think of Earthquake. Ofc you gotta be a red mage to understand.
