Animate Spine with Tezzeret, kill it, put it on mimic vat. An improvised Lux Cannon, a little more involved, but much better rate of fire.

If this card had a voice, it would NOT be saying "Break me, please". Being an artifact that acts a lot like a sorcery, this card, I am convinced, is sending a different message. From the perspective of Standard Format, you won't get the message. When looking at this card from an EDH perspective (or a perspective of like 5 or more years ago), the message is clear: Magic has evolved and certain things that have been believed to be absolute are no longer absolute.

look, in terms of cost, vindicate, and even desert twister, are better. the only reason why I would say this card is good is because you can play it turn after turn, with everything from gnathosaur to oxidda daredevil.
