Awesome ability...but I wonder why they went with reach over trample?
I guess wizards figured they had already given us Baloth Woodcrasher, Ezuri's Brigade, Terra stomper, & Liege of the Tangle...so we had enough gigantic trample for some time...
Although with the new squad hawk filled meta, maybe reach will be more valuable...

This guy would work well in an Elf deck.
Turn one Fauna Shaman and then discard him next turn.

My favorite Chancellor for sure. Not that it's hard to giver him Trample.. but it would have been nice if he had it.

For all these "Lotus Cobra on turn 1" people, sure you can drop Lotus Cobra turn 1, and that *could* lead to an interesting combo. But these combos will never be practical. They're so pathetic they could be stopped by a simple Hornet Sting. Once they remove the Cobra, your entire hand becomes completely useless and you've pretty much lost.

hmm. dont know wat to think of this one yet. with four of him i could cut llanowar almost all together for overgrown battlement. wish he had trample. but i like reach. alot.

you can use this guy in a red green aggro deck to pwn your friends:
chose to draw first
opening hand: 4 chanceler of the tangle, 2 lotus cobra, 1 misty rainforrest
top of deck: urabrask the hidden
reveal the chancelers
first turn draw urabrask
use 4 mana for 2 lotus cobras
play and trigger fetch land for forrest
use 2 of the 4 mana the cobras give you as red mana
tap forrest and use other 2 mana for any other color and play urabrask who gives himself haste and own your opponent with a 4/4 haste giver on turn 1
