I think that this definitely has a place in red decks in the post-M11/Zen Standard arena, especially with Mental Misstep running rampant.

3/5 for the actual card.

I think we need to ask for this card to be reprinted, but for better reasons than just "We hate Searing Spear".

We should submit to Wizards that either Red or White really needs Anti-Regeneration, because WHILE Regeneration itself is pretty fair and underpowered, they've put it on a Mythic Rare creature, Thrun, the Last Troll, and will probably continue to put in other Legendary Creatures like him, and while that's not OVERPOWERED or anything, 'things need answers' is a fair argument.

Before, when TWO whole colors that were both very good at destroying things tended to hate on Regeneration, it made it not worth the time it took to learn how to use the mechanic. Regeneration is a lot stronger now than it was in Xth edition, and it's worth it to have a weak hate card available because it's worth it to use Regeneration again. We should ask for either Wrath of God or Incinerate back, and we should then bid a Truly Final farewell to the other. Thrun should either be Wrathable or Incine... (see all)

Hmm. Somehow I have fifty of these lying around, and I didn't even play red when this was in standard.

Too bad they didn't keep up the tradition of new artwork for incinerate in each printing. It's definitely not my favorite art either (That would be the Mirage art). Let's hope to see new and better things being incinerated in the future.
