I think it goes without saying that Liliana of the Veil is the second best planeswalker ever printed. And the numbers and stats show this to be true. The artwork just puts this card over the top. Not withstanding the card that should never have seen print, she IS the most powerful planeswalker in the Magic universe. Period. Her value will only increase.

There will never be a time in my life that I don't regret selling this sexy foiled woman.

So, I picked up some Innistrad and M12 packs the other day. In the last M12 pack I opened I finally got a Chandra, and in my first Innistrad pack I pulled this. I feel like this is the universe telling me to put together some kind of RB control/burn deck. Maybe discard Chandra's Phoenix with Liliana's +1 and bring it back into my hand with Chandra's? I'll have to look for other, more game ending combos.

Okay, fine, I actually just want to see if having them both in play at the same time gives me the kind of nerd erection that I think it will. DON'T JUDGE ME!

Steve Argyle is like Liliana's personal artist. All the best art of her is done by Argyle. It's like Jason Chan and Jace.

Currently in a zombie tribal netdeck for standard, but her ult I love it its basically

Pile 1 non land perms +1 land
Pile 2 Lands + one or two creatures.

And watch them suffer

"Nobody's pointed out that she's the first planeswalker you can drop turn 1 with Dark Ritual? She is probably breakable, for that reason alone." ~ steev

@steev - Actually that honor goes to Jace Beleren, via Black Lotus. Unless you want to bring the Moxen and Tolarian academy into the picture, in which case, you would be able to play any planeswalker turn 1. :3

That said, this card is nice, although she will have a hefty price tag for a while. Here's hoping for lucky pulls, at least until I get a job..

Its late Friday evening,
I'm wond'rin what deck to play.
This beautiful lady
Tells me play black, today
And then she asks me
"Plus one or minus two?"
And I said darlin'
Have him sac that Cthulu

EDIT; To clear up some apparent but understandable confusion, I'm going to post a link to make the reference more clear. If you did not know who Eric Clapton is then thanks for making me feel old you whippersnappers. 21 is the new 40 i guess.
