I guess if you have a Miracle reliant deck, this card doubles your chances of casting cheap miracles by giving you an outlet to also draw on your opponent's turn. But in other venues, I can think of way better cards such as Howling Mine or whatever.

Awesome card. (Yes, you have to play it right for it to be "awesome", but that should go without saying.)

Option A: (~6 charges) Use it to keep your opponent's hand full, then combo with a card like Sudden Impact to capitalize.

Option B: (~20 charges) Use it for draw-based damage, and combo with a card like Underworld Dreams. (I love that card.)

Option C: (lotsa charges) Use it to mill, and combo it with a card like Grindclock to tip the scale in your favor.

Ramp it up fast in multiplayer with Unwinding Clock and Coretapper.

If you're worried about milling yourself, add in Wheel of Sun and Moon and enjoy the free library-searching.

In any of these cases it also helps keep your hand full, which is generally a huge plus.

It does require some thought about how it is going to be used before adding it to a deck, but that's about the only "downs... (see all)

This is a pretty tricky and fun card in limited if your deck has the gas to support it. Tick this up to 4 or 5, fire it off on their end step, and once again on your upkeep. Bam! You've drawn 10 cards. Hopefully enough to burn him out.

Or, in long, stallish games, keep ticking this to 8-10 counters. If you ever get into a bad spot, you have a panic button that should be able to draw the game, as you both lose to empty libraries.

Oh Shimian Specter, I think I found a way to mill with you now. And control at the same time!

The only real use for this card is in a mill deck as a suspend X, mill X. If you aren't using this card to make your opponent draw the last X cards in their deck, your doing it wrong (or you're having too much fun).
