I honestly have no idea why I love this card so much. Maybe it's the art, maybe it's the general flavour, maybe it's the P/T. Maybe it's all of those things.
This is probably my inner Timmy talking, but those 5/2 stats just invite you to try and find a way to make this guy work. I can't be the only person here who finds the mental image of a hunk of rock punching the opponent in the face for 5 deeply satisfying.
People will complain about Cobblebrute's toughness and say that it'll just get burnt away. Of course it will, but remember that the majority of creatures can be removed with the proper spell. It still means that your opponent spent a kill spell on your creature, that's 1-for-1 in card advantage and not usually a terrible thing.
Having such lopsided stats will almost guarantee that your opponent will want to block this guy, and that's not a bad thing. Knowing what your opponent will do is never a bad thing, people.
