Well it could have been played with Ooze Flux for nice creatures that pump it back and a doubling season .
With four counters on it that make 1G two 4/4 oozes than (4+4)x2 counters on him back than two 16/16 oozes for another 1G and back (16+16)x2 counters than for one last 1G two 64/64 oozes and 256 counters back on the giant ... And green is ramping...

I got this with the promo. Im usually a green player and boy do I wish this was a green!

That said, my Primeval Hydra would make short work of him!

Look at again. Notice the lack of "under your control". This thing is going to get very big, very fast.
