Gonna try this with Illusions of Granduer and black mana ramp cards. The ramp cards help you get to this early game and also are always splashable, making the heavy color reqs not so bad. Illusions comes out the same turn giving you 20 cards. Combo out to a Tendrils of Agony with your ramp cards and you have a T3 win, maybe T2. You will nearly deck yourself doing this mind you; however if you hit your opponent for lethal he should lose before you resolve all of the replacement draws (I think), even if you overextend your tendrils. You could use non-storm cards to do this as well, such as Sorin's Vengeance.

No, if you donate it and it's destroyed they lose. The you refers to the controller, not the owner.
There are better things to donate, however. See illusions of grandeur
