Hm, somehow I'd have preferred it to be an enchantment, so it's not as vulnerable. Still, in the right deck, it can be a fun card. The best would be to use the tokens created to fuel additional instants / sorceries.

I know it was designed to go with Izzet, but...Izzet doesn't have all that much damage from spells, really. Over half of their spells are more utility, like Downsize and Teleportal and Dragonshift.

Boros burn deck with this guy at the helm. And unless you throw burn spells around him. he doesn't belong in any deck. far better than hostility since you still do the spell damage. when your in the trenches against a Selesnya deck that has "got going" you might need that last searing spear to go direct to win the game. And sometimes needing those 2 tokens to chump block the army gives this card major upside. I will be testing this guy out...rating pending

Do sweeper spells like Electrickery trigger for each creature they deal damage to? Or does that just count as once?
Edit: @NeedsmoreRed thank you for the clarification :-). Okay then Clan Defiance for up to six tokens if they have a flier a non-flier and you can target that player! I'm sure there are better combos, I'd like to see this card get nuts.
2nd edit: The best combo I can think of is with Mentor of the Meek that way you can get 2 card draw for 2 colourless whenever you cast a burn spell. Shame the Mentor rotates out soon.
