I like the fact that this is non-castable off a Burning-Tree Emissary at two mana. When Flinthoof Boar was legal, Emissary-into-Boar strategy was so dominant that most aggro decks want it (though Voice of Resurgence changed it a bit). With this thing at GG, Ash Zealot at RR, Voice and Call of the Conclave at GW and Spike Jester at BR, aggro strategies should become more diversified than simply a search for the next top-tier creature that passes the Burning-Tree test.

The powercreep is strong with this one.
Still, it probably won't be competitively played.

Oh, so the 3/3 for GreenGreen is not good enough (only 3.3 rating)? Ungrateful green players!

Finally I can retire my Elvish Warriors in my Petroglyphs deck. That being said will make a drastic improvement.

I like it! I thinks it fits green well. I wonder what a mono-green forcing 1-drop would be. Maybe a 2/2 with "When you control a plains, mountain, island, or swamp, sacrifice this card"?

I find it odd that I have opened like 10 packs of 2014 and I got three of this guy, but not a single Elvish Mystic.
On the other hand I did get a certain archangel, paladin, and a foil reaver, so I am certainly not complaining.
(And seeing how every other color now has a "bears" for two mana, usually with wild abilities stapled on, I think this card is just fine for green. Maybe even could have gotten GGG: Regenerate, which would have made it more solidly uncommon.)

Do you hear that Wizards? Thats the sound of an armodon and his trainer, weeping.
I hope you're happy.

On a more serious note, I do like this card. Big fan of efficient two drops.

This is stronger then Garruk's companion, as it can bully 2/2 creatures out of trading with it. Which is a stronger form of evasion then trample, at least in this case.

It's good to see Green finally asserting itself as the creature color, instead of requiring White to be cost-effective. Solid limited card, and beasts were always cooler than wolves.
