Yep. Despite costing BlueBlueBlue, I feel like this card is what will make splashing green worthwhile in monoblue devotion.

A fun, probably "no way in hell for constructed" idea is pairing this with Spellheart Chimera. Chimera loves spell-flingy decks, so you don't want too many creatures getting in the way, and this card essentially allows you to have more creatures --that grow with sorceries and instants-- without actually using creature cards.

In a draft, I pulled off this targeting Akroan Horse before it's ETB resolved to still get the scry.

I'm a dick: i put this in my oath of druids deck. i bet this would got well in a polymorph deck too. it doesn't take away from getting out the creature you want and just adds to it later.

What about elite arcanist ? You could cast it for only colorless mana every time you could tap elite arcanist..
