sounds good against an elf-ball deck.

And many other decks really. 2 spells of theirs, one counter spell of yours and it's already better than glimpse the unthinkable, saving you $$$. Better fueled if you have something like forced fruition in play, since they'll try to maximize hand-value before having to discard at end of turn. This being an instant is bananas
