@Blubicles: You'd be surprised. Plenty of people gunning for competitive vintage do along with another ten thousand or so for each mox and vintage chase card. And if they want to spend that much on a hobby, it's like someone buying football season tickets every year. It's their choice and their money.

@Ultrofrost: I hope you're trolling... If that's really your understanding of cards, then forget about playing competitive vintage or competitive anything. Find another game that might not confuse you like Uno or Solitaire.

@Seves The problem with that combo is that there isn't a single format that more than one copy of Black Lotus is legal in. You might as well say that the best opening hand is Chancellor of the Dross x7.
