This is amazing! I want one for my Memnarch EDH to make it easier to pull out Mycosynth Lattice so that from there I can proceed to steal their side of the field, mana allowing.
EDIT: Got one, booted Memnarch from the Commander spot, replaced by this guy. Holy crap he's some kind of amazing. Font of Mythos? Got it. Howling Mine? Got it. Darksteel Forge? Got it. Oh no, running low on artifact creatures. I'll just go get Prototype Portal and imprint an Ornithopter so we don't have to worry about that anymore. Holy crap.

There's a guy running a T6 lockdown with this in EDH. Ruins the game for most people and everyone tends to scoop when he pulls it of.
Hey gets Forge, Disk and Lattice out and is able to sweep the field ininitely for 1 mana. Not to mention if he chooses he can infinite mindslaver as well with Elixir of Immortality.

I'm pretty sure you can cheat a little here. The creature sacrifice is part of the effect, not part of the cost of his ability, so you can --Edit: Don't listen to me. This is what happens when I read cards wrong--
