I reread it three times and yes, that's what it says. Putting creatures on the battlefield for Black not good enough for you? Just cycle it away and get something better! At least it isn't an instant...

Turn one Dark Ritual + Buried Alive into Doomed Necromancer and any fatties of your choice. Unearth the Necromancer next turn, and use it to resurrect fatty by turn 3.

Not as fast as Reanimate, but you don't lose a shitton of life, either.
