This guy basically makes his home in the Riptide Laboratory.

Simply astounding, a 2BlueBlue counter or bounce that gives a 2/2 upon resolution.

I do wish he was more like Voidmage Husher in one of two ways though, by either being able to counter an activated ability, or by having some sort of re-usability outside of the Erratic Portal/Crystal Shard/Equilibrium-esque cards. Reusable bounce might have made him too good though.

Maybe if he had something along the likes of Sakashima the Impostor's 2BlueBlue: Return Venser to owners hand at the end of turn, it would have been alright without being too broken or re-abuseable.

Remand also returns the spell, though the wording is different.

OMG, that's going to be such a sought after Planeswalker! His +2 fits in perfectly with the already powerful titans in UW, and his ultimate is undoubtedly the best ultimate of the new planeswalkers.

So... i'm thinking he's the only thing that can successfully "counter" Emrakul. Yeah he goes straight back to their hand, but if someone has 15 mana ready twice in an eldrazi deck, they shouldn't need emrakul to win.

Combos with the planeswalker Venser.

Ummm... This is the example of a "decent" blue creature card: High cmc for his power, a fair ability, and legendary.
