I've been building a B/R wither deck around this guy, and I just realized that he's an excellent solution (in Casual) to creatures with level up.

My B/R deck is centered around this here fella. The only problem is almost every time I play my friends they whip me with stuff like Counterspell and Oblivion Ring. Maybe a Vexing Shusher...

Not just Serrated Arrows, but try out Forgotten Ancient or anything with Graft or Reinforce, as well. Your opponents will be wondering why you're putting +1/+1 counters on their creatures until you drop the Knight. For a little more tech (and color splash), Novijen, Heart of Progress can do the trick, too.
