Just got this card in momir basic. It's awesome. It's almost an instant win. An 8/8 turn 4 is awesome when they get no profit from it.

If you are going to lay these guys down you best be ready to Murder somthing. Or as stated before Torpor Orb and that ilk. I wouldn't touch this outside of red/Blue And/or Black

Even a lowly Fiend Hunter pretty much undoes all your work. If you have a combo like Torpor Orb, sure. But don't just stick him in a random deck, it will almost always backfire badly.

A sideboard card, but a great one for when your opponent is playing no creatures or playing weenies. Played this recently when my opponent was playing his "Reforge the Junk" deck (bunch of cheap artifacts, Molten Psyche, Reforge the Soul, Devastation Tide). This entered the battlefield and opponent got... Memnite.

Pshhh, combos? Play this card, give it haste because you're red, and kill your opponent. Unless you're facing big green you'll be fine. Let them have their titan or whatever.
