I have a question regarding the last ability of Tezzeret. The artifacts I played the last turn (say a simple Kaleidostone), will have or not summoning sickness? I know I can tap artifacts the moment they come into play. But if they "transform" into creatures, is the summoning sickness on?

i just recently got Tezzeret and I am not quite sure how to use him, can someone explain it to me. Like what the four means in the lower-right and how to use the abilities and is Tezzeret a creature or what

Having just constructed my own esper artifact deck (the only big card I'm missing being Sen Triplets), it's easy to see how powerful Tezzeret is in the right deck. I already have a pair of Unbender Tines due to their awesome utility (more mana, or pseudo-vigilance, or most importantly: more transmutes), so adding in another 2 untaps is very powerful and very versatile.

His second ability is, in my opinion, his most useful: deck search. The main issue I have with the deck is that if I don't start with a fabricate, transmuter, scourglass or sphinx summoner I'm praying for a draw of one of them (the transmuter to bring virtually anything into play, the fabricate and summoner for search abilities, and the scourglass for battlefield control). Tezzeret does the job of fabricate himself (plus he puts it into play to boot), and can get any of the other three cards within 1 to 2 turns of being out should you badly need them.

His major ability, as has been mentioned, isn't the most gamebreakin... (see all)

Pretty good. You have to build a deck around him but that's a small drawback. His untap ability is sick, his tutor ability is okay, and his ultimate ability is great for a finish. Nothing like killing my opponent with 5 5/5 Artifact lands!

Ha!
Turn One: Artifact-Land
Turn Two: Artifact-Land, signet
Turn Three: Artifact Land, Mishra, artificer prodigy
Turn Four: Artifact Land, A few more signets(no net mana loss for the turn due to mishra doubling them),Gilded Lotus(+1 from mishra), tezzeret(untapping the lotuses), sphinx summoner(+1 from mishra)(summoning another summoner and anything from darksteel colossus to platinum angel

That is the new casual deck I have been playing. Since Tezz goes off next turn, I usually swing for about 69-79 on turn five, which will often kill at least three other players at the table. If you leave a few lands and a lotus untapped and attack for about 49 or so instead, you can play a platinum angel after the attack, which is often a wrecking since people use most of their removal on the lethal attackers.
Very fun deck.

What's that, you say? Search out a Lotus Bloom and put it into play for free? Nifty.
