here is a question for the masses....... it says Enchant Target Permanent. a Planeswalker is a permanent. so i could Enchant say Jace. and if i did would he still leave play if his loyalty counters drop to zero either by being attacked or by downing his abilities????? I know what i think but i wounder what the rulings are.

"Although you can't actually destroy the indestructible creature, the trampling creature would deal enough damage to it that would 'normally' kill it, then tramples over the rest. It still counts as lethal damage, even though it doesn't actually destroy it."

Are you 100% sure? I sense bullshît. You can say it the other way and it would make more sense: "You can't deal lethal damage to an indestructible creature... thus the creature with trample cannot trample over it." If you had to use the phrase "that would 'normally' kill it", you're most probably wrong.

If my 3/3 creature has indestructibility, and it either takes a 3 point Lightning Bolt or takes 3 points of combat damage, does it survive?

But not counting this card alone this card plus enchanted evening is a great battlefield position.

Put it on Uril the Miststalker and have some real fun!... well, primarily when you don't have your Shield of the Oversoul and you're playing elder dragon highlander- oh and Uril is your general. Good potential, just takes a bit more work to make its sense of security more than a false one for your elected permanent.

I like the idea and design, but i think at this cost it will only very rarely be worth using it.
This basically means for your opponent that he either has to exile the threat itself or hose it in a similar way, or destroy this Aura at first before dealing with the enchanted card.
Then of course if he/she can't deal with enchantments you're lucky.
But in general, unless you're using this on a match-winning card, or to ensure that nobody messes around with one of your particular combo pieces, your opponent could also simply destroy another target with his removal. And if he can destroy the enchantment, this will likely cost him less than four mana.

Back then in Mirrodin i would likely have loved this card since i was a new player and considered this to be one of the most powerful abilities. This is likely also some players' favourite in this Core Set for similar reasons.
Well, the flavor and especially art of this card is still great for sure. Talking about the artwork, I'd like to see ... (see all)
