not only is this a huge target, but Wither makes whatever the creature deal lethal damage to die, regardless of indestructability

I've been thinking about adding this into my artifact deck. This in conjunction with Darksteel Forge would make it quite, quite secure. Unless of course my opponent has any cards to exile artifacts. Bouncing would be annoying way to slow it down, but then again, oh wait... I just played two Darksteel Colossuses last turn for zero mana thanks to my Mycosynth Golems. Gotta love affinity. ^^

yes true_mumin i agree with your point. you are wise beyond your years.... where in (wrath of god)s name is lightening greaves??? i miss them so much, and with cards like madrush cyclops its not like it would be the end of the world to reprint them... and by thye way if god had put shroud on this, this couldent get indestructable and then wrath of god would get it... but then again theres always path to exile.

It is very nice when your opponent casts this angel, at least if you're playing a control deck and you are able to play your ( in this case my ) Gather Specimens. This Angel is really good. And i agree that you could better give Platinum Angel shroud than indestructable. Shroud really makes things hard once it's on the field protecting the angel and thus the player.

This is great in blue decks, where you can shroud it, and protect it with counters. Oh yeah, and this + Pact of Negation is god.

In the off chance that God "took away" it's indestructibility, then this is Lucifer...pure evil...

Giving it indestructability is not bad, but a bit dull.

Personally, I like the idea of putting two in play and using Master transmuter to bounce and return them if they're in danger.

i put this card in my Esper Deck. with the sculpeters that make an artifact cost 1 less. i played it for 3 mana. played wipersiclk cloak for none. then ecuiped it for 3. So i played a Unblockable shroud, you cant lose the game 4/4 flyer for 6. It was nice.
