If you have out Amulet of Vigor and something to sacrifice it too, could you block as many creatures as you could pay 2 black mana for?
Declare it as a blocker, sacrifice Reassembling Skeletons, bring it back into play, declare it as a blocker against another creature, wash, rinse, repeat.
Is there a reason this wouldn't work?

I hate regeneration, so I grin spitefully now that Drudge Skeletons got the boot. And this card is so much better in so many ways. Now all we need to do is dump Cudgel Troll.

or recurring ammo for a sac engine...
this, vengevine, and bloodghast
makes me almost wanna play thought gourger,
but that black leyline is the only thing keeping me away...
funny how a black card is the one to kill grave combos
