@Tovec: To answer your question, Exclusion Ritual only blocks a spell so long as it has something imprinted on it. If someone were to exile a commander with this, it would simply go to the command zone. No exile card means nothing is imprinted, and without an imprint, Exclusion Ritual blocks nothing. Commander can come back fine from this.

Now, on the contrary, Exclusion Ritual can still be remarkably useful in Commander, as it's a multiplayer game, often a very large multiplayer game, with a (rather stupidly so) large amount of common cards. Slap down an enemy's O-ring and not only will they never get it back, but anyone else that has one can't use it either.

For people who are moaning about EDH use, how about you read the rulings for the card:
1.6.2011 If the exiled card somehow leaves exile, the last ability will no longer have any effect.
1.6.2011 In a Commander game, a player may replace Exclusion Ritual exiling his or her commander with putting that commander into the command zone. If this happens, Exclusion Ritual's last ability will have no effect.

Just clone their commander THEN use this on the clone and murder their commander via other means.

Easier ways to do that though.
