I used to be sad that Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is going to cycle out of Standard soon. Used to be. Sure, she doesn't instantly wipe the opponent's board or make best friends with Massacre Wurm, but boy howdy, does she love her Inquisitor's Flail.

She is the greatest angel of all time! I couldn't tell you how many times I was outnumbered on the battlefield and I had her out. My opponents with all of their creatures couldn't kill me because of her ability reducing the damage. She is a game changer! I hope when the Boros set comes out, they have more red and white cards that will compliment her flavor.

As I said on that card, she works really well with Pyrohemia. She doubles the damage you cause to your enemies and negates 100% of the damage that would otherwise be caused to you and your creatures.

@flavioal28 Look at her casting cost, now look at jace's casting cost, now look back at her. This is why he is banned and she isnt. Most pro tour games i have seen last to at the most 15 turns. Usually somewhere around ten. The chances that you will have enough mana to play her, or even want to play her instead of something else are very low.

All the people I read saying she's broken also say that they lost to her in prerelease.... >.> generally speaking, if your opponent pulls a mythic that isn't Light of the Archangel or Descent into madness aren't they supposed to win?
That's why my friends don't do prerelease events.....
