Gorgeous card.
Beautiful flavour, beautiful art (possibly one of my favourite ladies in Magic), great, balanced costing which leaves it a powerful card that nonetheless isn't a no-brainer for every deck running red.

I don't think this is going to be as much of a deterrent against Snapcaster as you all think.
If I wanted to play a Mana Leak a second time, I'd happily pay for the extra 3 life than have to deal with Overrun/Phyrexian Obliterator/ANYTHING BIG.
Don't get too hyped over it. It's mostly just going to be a 2/2 with first strike and haste... Which is still pretty good.

The thing I hate most about this card, despite how powerful it is, is the fact that people call it "Ash ZEE-LOT" when it's pronounced "Ash Zell-lot". Learn english!
