I've not found the lack of humans to be a big deal, at least in my B/R vampire deck. More often than not, I'll already have a Curse Of Stalked Prey or two out, so she gets pumped one way or the other.

She becomes even more durable with a Stromkirk Captain out, which curves into her. Enjoy your 5/2 flying hasty first striker.

This card combined with Reassembling Skeleton and Grave Pact or Butcher of Malakir is what makes my vampire deck so friggin fun to play. I loved how I played against a life gain elf deck that had made its way up to almost sixty life, but the other player conceded when I wiped out her field and swung for 33 with a Vampire Nighthawk equipped with Blade of the Bloodchief.

My point is no 4 CMC mythic deserves a toughness of 1. I thought you knew that too, WotC.

With a particular angel and a particular human, this combos into something beyond mythic. Beyond epic. Mythepic? Definitely worth the mythic rare status in light of that.

Since you've already splashed red in your vampires deck for this and stormkirk captain, try adding a few act of treason type cards. It would let you steal their creature, kill it off, and make the Aristocrat indestructible that turn.
