The first time I saw this, I was like "WTF WERE THEY THINKING MAKING A CARD LIKE THIS FUUUUUU-", but after I calmed down and actually think about it, it's not that bad. It's really really good, but it's not broken, at least.

Ah, still remember that game where I managed to make this little fella into a 7/7 in one turn, using the Ulvenwald Bear and Hunger of the Howlpack after getting this guy killed in combat. I eventually managed to proliferate him up to a 17/17. :)

This thing is an impenetrable wall against every non trampling infect or wither creature that can't evade it.

I used to use him in green aggro. 1 damage threat is just too little, they don't even care to block him.

Gives Doomed Traveler a run for it's money as a 1/1 for one that recurs as a superior creature.

Altar's reap (or even Diabolic Intent)

Be careful putting this into a werewolf tribal. It seems good, but although it is better than Reckless waif, the best 1-drop is wolfbitten captive. If you don't have any, sure, use these, but Young Wolf is better in a mono green.

Replaces Tukatongue Thallid as go-to Devour bait.

One of my favorite plays:

Turn one: forest, this.
Turn two: mountain, Infernal Plunge, sac this, Huntmaster of the Fells.

And then your opponent gets pretty mad xD

Y'know, people say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, but in this case, what kills him does.
