The fact that they do this at the endstep makes this a must have in any demon deck. Combos so well with all the "at the beginning of your upkeep, make me a sandwich or else" drawbacks in black.

I like comboing this with Xathrid Demon, even with no creatures other then it left in play, I always end my turn with a nice, chunky 5/5 demon for me to sacrifice next upkeep and make my opponents lose 5 life. Rinse, repeat.

This, Demonic Taskmaster, and Homicidal Seclusion not only drips with demonic awesome flavor, but all has great synergy.
Have the taskmaster out with both and
a) you start your turn, sac a creature other than the demon, leaving you with just him.
b) homicidal seclusion becomes active, giving you a flying 7/4 with lifelink. swing
c) end of turn, this lets you put out a 5/5 to block
d) next turn, sac the token to the taskmaster, back to only one creature. seclusion activates again... repeat until win
