Compare to Fall of the Hammer.
Based on other hybrid costed cards this should be superior to the mono colored version, but it's not. Adding Green doesn't add anything to the effect but just makes it worse.

Actually, hybrid cards are supposed to be weaker than mono-coloured cards because they are easier to cast. Things like Rakdos Cackler are basically poorly designed cards because they outclass mono-coloured cards and are easier to cast than them (like satyr firedrinker, though it's always arguable).

This card is an upgrade to prey upon at a slightly higher mana cost, so I think it is perfectly balanced. I love that it is accessible by red and green.
