Yes, I know it is somewhat weaker, and that's the point :) It's both weaker, and more flavorful. White targeted removal? I don't have much problem with it being good.....I DO have some problems with it being so common :/
This is the right rarity, and the rarity lets it have some way cooler flavor than farmland stuff :) I mean I like the flavor of Swords to Plowshares too, bc it's appropriate and neat for uncommon... :/
but color philosophy wise, it shouldn't be an uncommon effect. :P

They need to make a version that works with blue: Sacrifice target creature to target Kraken creature in hopes of calming down Thassa.

To try to answer my own question, I see that the only way for someone to get their card back is to destroy that land (or the enchantment). So that's interesting. Also, it's a 1-mana card that exiles nicely, so it's pretty powerful I guess.

In Limited, it seems like it'd work well in green decks using Nylea's Presence for mana-fixing too.

I do think it would work better overall if it could enchant any mountain though. It would then become White's answer for those who like to play with fire. Purphoros would keep it from being broken.

This isn't a 3.5 card. On flavor alone it deserves at least a 3.5. If it also cost ten life to play I could see a 3.5 rating. The fact you could even consider sleeving it up for Standard is just icing.
