Good card, and come on people it will not stop a player from recasting their commander.

I like that they chose to give Elspeth's sword a card. I wouldn't mind seeing this done to other random weapons here or there. Or maybe Venser's helm could be a card.

Godsend on a creature with double strike and Iroas, God of Victory on the table...so much win!

A good card to have on the board, regardless of deck type. I don't find this card to be overly situational, a buff is a buff. This just happens to have added effects.

4/5.

Damn, that seams really good with Stoneforge Mystic but idk if its as good as Umezawa's Jitte, Batterskull, or Sword of Feast and Famine but only time will tell.

That being said, this seams pretty good in EDH, espicelliy if your meta has a lot of really similar lists, you can exile someones noncommander and keep any of them from casting it

4/5 Stars

Impressive weapon, deters attackers, but is expensive to equip and vulnerable to removal.

Works nicely on a creature with vigilance, or when you can keep the three colorless to move it to another creature after your attack phase.

On the kitchen table, I'm loth to cast the card until I can also equip it immediately, and seen the opponents burn some removals already. That makes it more of a middle or later game type of play to secure the upper hand.

@fountain_soda

You really don't need to wait for 6 mana and several removal spells to be gone because its in white. Turn 3 drop this, turn 4 equip it to whomever, they try to doom blade it or whatver, you use your 4th mana to drop Gods willing.......or Brave the elements........or Ajani's presence. Even just in standard white has so many cheap ways to save its creatures. Godsend on Fabled Hero protected by 1 mana cards is how I got through the quarterfinals at game day yesterday.

That being said I really wish it were 2 to equip. Other than that, I really do think its better than the swords in a number of situations (though not all).

Depending on the format and the meta, this card could be anywhere from a 1/5 to 5/5, but since it's targeting exile that doesn't target is so unique and powerful, I tend to lean towards the latter. I mean my word, how do you stop a monstrous fleecemane lion equipped with this thing? Final Judgement?

Esper stone blade has a new toy for sideboard at least. I think giving the creature vigilance would have been reasonable given the price but as it stands, it is solid at the very least.
