5/5 I've effectively shut down opponents attacking me with anything due to giving this flying and regeneration.

The damage is all dealt at the same time, so that game can be considered a draw. Why did your gf play the overrun and attack if you had the souls of the Faultless out?

@aerzyk If the pathrazer doesn't have trample from some other means, it assigns all it's combat damage to the Souls, as long as that's the only creature blocking it

Hello there, Sleeper Agent! :) Centerpiece of "forcing-enemy-creatures-to-attack" decks, especially if you have it gain the ability of blocking multiple creatures, like other people said, and have it enter the battlefield during an opponent's combat phase.. However, it has to compete with Meglonoth if you have access to mana of these colors..

@SGLinkmaster

A creature's toughness is irrelevent when calculating this and lifelink. That 20/20 Pathrazer delt 20 damage to SoF so he took 20 and his opponent gained 20. This is also the way lifelink and soul link works.

On AEKblackheart's situation. I agree with VonD, both SoF triggers would go off at the same time you die; therefore not have the time to resolve. Just imagine your summons disappearing into aether the second you lose.

Only causes a draw if you're using Transcendence, I believe.

I've found that just by itself and the 3 mana spent to cast it, this thing shuts DOWN the non flight attack. Never actually got to deal damage or gain life with it personally but have played it several times with the same outcome. Once threw down an Angelic Destiny on it as a last resort, that was fun. It was my only creature, he/she had 1 of those 2/1 deathtouch Owl's and kept smackin me for 2 until I got down to 3 health and finally I drew into the Destiny which was able to hold off the attack for a turn or 2 and I drew into an Angel of Despair, targeted his Owl, swung twice with the Angel and GG. Just the presence of souls of the faultless has been enough in my personal experiences and that makes it a pretty solid 3 drop!
