This card owns in my Rafiq EDH deck. Throw her down, add Aboshan's Desire for effect (with Threshold, of course), add a few counters, have Rafiq wander out and watch the doublestrike-shroud-flying crazy angel lady beat a guy to death.

The same deck also has Akroma in it, though, which is a better top deck, but still.

Question, if you were to have 2 of these on the field( Using Mirror Gallery to stop the Legend rule), and you use her ability, would it give each a counter each time you pay it or just the one?

@Dr.Pingas: Unless you have something to protect her, she dies very fast in EDH. I have found that having Rafiq support the damage of another creature is just as effective. Like dropping even a Mulldrifter with Rafiq in play can mean 6 Damage, which for Jenara would cost you another 6 mana to get her to that damage level.

Generally, dropping your general on the first turn you can play them is not a good tactic unless you have Greaves or something. Both are great and require different cards to support them or different tactics. I would not say one is better than the other.

I just learned the other day that the asura were the demons of Hindu mythology. And yet, she's an angel. Interesting.

I'm gonna go ahead and say she basically generates card advantage by giving you a free Daily Regimen...

Compares infavorably to Olivia Voldaren and Ashling the Pilgrim if you ask me.
I've seen people try to use her as an edh general, but Rafiq of the Many is almost always better.

Love the card, but comparing it to Olivia Voldaren for Commander makes me a bit sad in terms of what the cards themselves can do. Still good for the colours and just generally love the card :)

Very good as a commander, as I'm sure many have said or seen. Built in evasion, in colours that have excessive pump spells, not to mention exalted, and builds herself over time if need be. Can easily win games on turn 5 through commander damage.

Actually @adrian.malacoda. If Daily Regimen is worth W, and a one card advantage (for a two in one) is worth U, then she is actually a 3/3 flyer for G.
