This card is the bomb. You build around it, you don't put it into a random red deck. Cultivate, harrow, expedition Map, firggin Primeval titan, throw in Koth as a fail safe and your ready to friggin roll. This card is a bomb and anyone who says differently isn't quuite using it right. Theoretically, You can make a kickass valakut deck for relatively cheap. Drop the titans and it aint bad. Of course the titans and koth make it uber and theyre like 50 bucks a piece.. so its like 20 or so bucks for a good valakut deck, 250 for a damn good one haha
4.5/5 only because it ISNT good in most decks outside of itself.

I hate it. I hate valakut. I have a 150$ vampires deck, and for what? I had to include land destruction in the sideboard for this. Still, 5/5.

Turn one mana bond, valakut and 5 mountains gg, or turn 2 treasure hunt get mana bond and 15 lands turn 3 eot 45 damage

This is one thing that is bugging me about this card is this. If valakut is a land yes it is colorless but i read if a land produces a single color land it is still a red card am i right or worng because of a card i played to counter the land but it did not work. Does celestral purge destory Valakut?
