THIS CARD IS RATED SO HIGH. Well, it's an awesome use of the landfall mechanic. Literally incorporated both options of teh infamous Lightning Bolt: zap their creature, or zap their face. For two red mana, you can get both (With the slight drawback of needing a land dropped). Talk about card advantage. The RDW-player in me loves this gem.

I love this card. It answers the always-present question "burn the player or burn a creature" in the best way possible: "BURN EVERYTHING". And no, you don't want to run this alongside Terramorphic Expanse because it slows your mana too much for a Red player, or at least that's what experience's taught me.
Sadly, I just can't seem to use it effectively. Once my opponent had a Witchbane Orb out on turn 2 thanks to dark ritual, which made the 3 copies of this in my hand useless. Another game, another guy was playing a creature-less control deck, which made this even more useless. Overall, I feel it's still an useful burn spell, but my timesplaying it have made me a little bitter towards it.

I'm going to get 4 Sulfur Falls and 4 Shivan Reef so my Neurok Commando Counterburn deck can go "Turn 2 Searing Blaze your guy, Turn 3 untap, play Neurok Commando."

Almost any spell that hits two different targets is solid gold in pauper. This is no exception. If you like this card, you'll probably also like Smash to Smithereens for your artifact destruction needs.

Red Decks are awesome. I think one day I shall make an almost-singleton Red Deck Wins. It won't be Legacy-Good, but it will be more than enough to take down most decks I want it to be able to take down.
There are too many fantastic Red cards over the years, and I want to play them all. To make room for Thunderbolt, Flamebreak and Jaya Ballard, some interesting card choices must be made.
