Composite Golem coupled with his best friend the Deathmantle. Congratulations! You now have Magic's strongest BUG.

He is going in my infinite deck for sure.

This is great if you've got an Eldrazi. But if you've got an Eldrazi, who cares?

It is, however, a pretty darn good card otherwise.

Begs to have a deck made around him, and with all of the fun sacrificing effects in the game, you can make it crazy fast. Innocent Blood anyone?

Running this in a deck with Geth's Verdict, Tribute to Hunger, Consuming Vapors and Gatekeeper of Malakir. I've also seen it used with Spawning Pit to great effect.

I play a zombie sacrifice deck with Carrion Feeder and Nantuko Husk as my beats, but I was always missing one more threat to dominate the board with. This creature filled that missing gap.

Just throw in Gravecrawler, Bloodghast, Geralf's Messeger, Entomb, Cabal Therapy, and let it rain pain.

Surprised this guy isn't run in EDH more often. He works with a bunch of commanders, Teysa, Thraximundar, Savra, Ghave, and Kresh off the top of my head.

I guess the downside is that it doesn't provide its own means to sacrifice creatures or make your opponents do so, so in a sense this is kind of a win-more card. Still, sometimes you just need something to beat face, and in the right deck this guy can manage that.

I've made a quick deck where Carrion Feeder and this are best friends.

It's as if you're proliferating a second Feeder!

Bloodghast and Gravecrawler approve? All you'd need is a sacrifice outlet and this little guy could get out of hand very quickly.

Do I have to directly sacrifice a creature for Mortician Beetle's effect or can I just say I'm sacrificing a creature for another effect and just add Mortician Beetle to stack?

This guy gets ridiculous in Teysa edh. I removed two things with Teysa and attacked with this guy, now a 7/7. Super synergy with Teysa control. Starts with other players trying to stop me from getting teysa fodder, ends with them desperately trying to block/remove this. 5/5 would recommend to all Teysa players.
